It is best used for recurring jobs with very large numbers of records that require a quick turnaround time and where the input format and the progressive search logic will not change from job to job.
Custom code is written to meet the exact requirements of the input file and of the progressive search logic. This custom code is associated with a specific FTP site dedicated to the recurring job. When the customer places a file on that FTP site it is picked up, validated to ensure the correct format, and then processed using the Join Engine. When the job is completed the results file is placed on the customers FTP site.
