Users that are interested in the data for non time-critical applications, such as for online directories, data compilation, and data verification are frequent users of Vintage Data. When the currency of a daily update is not critical LSSiDATA customers take advantage of Vintage Data.
Vintage Data is developed from a series of “snap-shots” of the National Directory Assistance database which have been held in quarantine and aged. Vintage Data has the same data elements and extensive processing that goes into making the National Directory Assistance database; the only difference is the effective dates and the update cycle.
Vintage Data is only available as a data feed to be used by the customer within their own data center. To take advantage of what Vintage Data offers to customers will need a sufficient relational database and database administration skills.
